The Computer Science Field is one of the fastest growing and highest paying career paths in the world. Educating students in computer science is also beneficial to those not interested in the computer science field. With the digital age rising, there is a need to develop logical thinking and problem-solving which is all a part of the computer science curriculum.

The Department of Computer Science was founded in the year of 1997 in self-financing mode. This is the first self-financing department in the history of this college. Besides many hurdles like infrastructure, good quality faculties and of course the geographically isolated - tribal dominated district, the department flourished exercising the opportunities available state-wide. The success story is reflected in the alumni chapter.
