VISION : To stimulate and promote students' interest in studying physics as a subject within the curriculum.
MISSION : To spark the interest of the younger generation and identify their physics-related abilities.
INTRODUCTION : The Department of Physics was established in 1992 and provided MPC and MPCs programmes with approved strengths of 30 and 50. The department has excellent physical facilities for holding UG practicals. The majority of classes take place in the virtual classroom, and PPT-based lessons are taught using an LCD projector. A total of two teaching positions have been authorised and filled. They each have a doctorate and 26 years of experience in cutting-edge research and teaching. It is one of the college's top departments. Student-centric methods are used in the department, including induction training, assignments, study projects, quizzes, poster presentations, student seminars, field trips, community service projects, internships, and workshops. The department also provides innovative projects for meritorious students, remedial classes for slow learners, ward counselling, and promotes energy conservation as a best practice.
Dr. J. Subrahmanyam, a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Physics, has made significant contributions to academics and research.
